Commitment to Sustainability
Did you know that the fashion industry is responsible for around 10% of annual global carbon emissions? The environment is in danger and I want to help, to rescue, and to preserve this home of ours.
Understanding that sustainability is a goal that requires constant effort to be improved and maintained, I am always thinking about the impact on the environment and the people involved in every part of the jewelry-making process.
To minimize carbon footprint, I try to eliminate the use of plastic whenever possible, even if it comes at a higher cost than traditional methods.
Making jewelry by hand means there are no machines are used, which lowers our carbon footprint significantly compared to jewelry made in factories.
Each item is handmade to order so there is no extra inventory and less waste generated.
